Saturday Random 10 (but really 20) XXI: THIS. IS POST 300!!!!

300 is a LOT of posts, but not if you figure I've been at this for over 4 years. Still, a benchmark is a benchmark, regardless of how prestigious or pointless it may be.

But this'll be a real quick post. I have errands to run and shit to do.

1. Queens of the Stone Age - Someone's In the Wolf
2. R.E.M. - Stand
3. Hot Water Music - The End
4. Dio - Gypsy
5. Datsuns - Harmonic Generator
6. Brother Ali - Uncle Sam Goddamn
7. Bloodhound Gang - Fire Water Burn
8. The Pogues - Boys From the County Hell
9. Devo - Big Mess
10. The Smashing Pumpkins - With Every Light
11. Ozzy Osbourne - Suicide Solution (Live & Loud)
12. The Rolling Stones - Can You Hear Me Knockin'?
13. The Chemical Brothers - The Jazz/Sidewinder (312 vs. 216 Stomp Mix)/Doin' It After Dark (D-Ski's Dance)/Don't Stop the Rock/To A Nation Rockin'
14. Jerry Seinfeld - Air Travel
15. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Hollywood (Africa)
16. Massive Attack - Superpredators
17. Blink-182 - Degenerate
18. The Fiery Furnaces - Rub Alcohol Blues
19. Senses Fail - Martini Kiss
20. Isham Jones - I'll See You In My Dreams

A nice eclectic Random, right here. You got your Queens, one of the better (and yet overlooked) R.E.M. singles, the awesome power of DIO(!!!) and the neo-Garage also-rans Datsuns to head it off. Goes from there into the best blind albino Muslim rapper to put out an album this year, then one of the only good songs Bloodhound Gang ever released, followed quickly by Pogues, Devo, Pumpkins and some sweet live OZZY. You look at the rest of this Random, and you figure "Who in thier right goddamn mind would have all this music in one collection??"

Evil Brian.

And I'm not in my right goddamn mind.

P.S. You show me someone who's playlist goes from trip-hop to pop-punk to playful indie to emocore to a hit song from the NINETEEN MUTHAFUCKIN TWENTIES and I will call you a liar, sir.
