Evil Brian: The Returnening

It has been a fine 14 days in Steel City, but it's nice to be home. I didn't end up seeing too much of Pittsburgh, as I had 8 hour classes to attend 5 days a week, but what I did see I was quite impressed with. I'll definitely have to come back. I actually spent much of my time in Moon Township, one of what I would estimate would be about 150 townships that surround Pittsburgh. Moon Township is where FedEx Ground Headquarters is located, and my classroom was next to what appeared to be an oil refinery on Neville Island. It was quite a boring trip, though I DID get to watch the Pirates lose a game to the Rockies, which was immediately followed by one of the grandest fireworks displays I've ever been privvy to. Seriously, I had no idea you could set fireworks to a Richard Cheese song...or that there was such a song as the 'Pittsburgh Polka', for that matter. It was a fortnight of learning, is what I'm trying to say.

There was, however, one shining pinnacle of awesomeness in these past two weeks. One that I had no idea was going to happen when I landed at Pittsburgh Airport, but one that I am inifinitely grateful for having occurred. The stars indeed were aligned in my favor.

OZZFEST.

Review forthcoming.
